Information and permissions
The app requests microphone access only when you choose to use voice functionality. You can deny the permission and use available tap-based interactions.
Voice recognition uses Android speech recognition. Depending on the speech-recognition service installed on your device and its settings, audio may be processed by that service, including remotely. We do not claim that every voice session stays offline. Review your device's speech-service privacy settings.
Currency exchange
When you request a live exchange rate, the app contacts api.frankfurter.dev over HTTPS and sends the selected currency codes. As with any network request, the service and network infrastructure may receive technical connection information such as your IP address. The app also supports manual rates and locally cached rates.
Local information
App preferences and exchange-rate cache data are stored on your device to support the experience. The app's offline-first city and attraction content does not require a user account. External map or directions links, when opened, are handled by the destination service under its own privacy practices.
Advertising and analytics
The current internal-testing build does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking SDKs, according to the app's release review. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and control
You can revoke microphone permission in Android settings. Local app data can be cleared using Android's app storage controls or by uninstalling the app. External services may have separate retention practices outside our control.
